Urban Youth Aspiring a Career in Motorsports Experience NASCAR Up Close Courtesy of Aflac

Insurer provides Urban Youth Racing School students with behind-the-scenes access during event at Richmond International Raceway.

Columbus, Ga. - Sept. 7, 2007 - A group of young motorsport career hopefuls from the Washington, D.C., Urban Youth Racing School (UYRS) will get the chance to experience the business of professional racing first-hand courtesy of Aflac, the official supplemental insurance partner of NASCAR. Today Aflac will host 17 of the school's students at the Richmond International Raceway for the final Cup race before the Chase for the Championship.

The students will participate in a garage tour prior to the race on Saturday and have the opportunity to meet Aflac Racing drivers Jamie McMurray and Greg Biffle.

Our new relationship with NASCAR and Roush Fenway Racing creates a way for us to help these students obtain a great educational experience," said Paul S. The Urban Youth Racing School was founded in 1998 and is committed to the education, training and preparation of today's youth through exposure to the automotive and motorsports industry. The nationally recognized program uses motorsports as an avenue to enhance urban youths' knowledge of science, mathematics, business and marketing.

"The UYRS is dedicated to providing new opportunities for kids through motorsports that they otherwise might not have," said Anthony Martin, the school's founder and executive director. "We're thankful to Aflac and Roush Fenway Racing for giving us the opportunity to show them what the world of professional racing is like first-hand."

The Chevy Rock & Roll 400 (ABC, 7 p.m. Eastern time) will take place on Sat., Sept. 8, at 7 p.m. Eastern time at Richmond International Raceway in Richmond, Va.
