Aflac Gears Up for Kenseth Paint Scheme Debut
Columbus, Ga .- August 2, 2007 - Aflac Racing - the fastest flock in NASCAR - is proud to introduce its latest signature Busch series racing paint scheme, debuting with Matt Kenseth and his No. 17 Aflac Ford. Fans can see the third installment of Aflac Racing designs Aug. 11 at the Zippo 200 at Watkins Glen International (ESPN2 3 p.m.).
"It's exciting to have Aflac on my car this weekend in Watkins Glen," said Matt Kenseth, driver of the No. 17 Aflac Ford. "It's always fun to have a new sponsor on board. It's not everyday you have a duck riding along on your car, so hopefully we can get a good run for them at Watkins Glen. Road courses can be tricky, but my team has built me a brand new car so I'm ready to get out there and see what we can do."
Aflac, which is NASCAR's official supplemental insurance partner, announced this summer that it would sponsor four NASCAR NEXTEL Cup races and four Busch Series races with Roush Fenway Racing. Greg Biffle premiered the No. 16 Aflac Ford at the Lenox Industrial Tools 300 and Carl Edwards premiered the No. 60 Aflac Ford at the Winn-Dixie 250.
