Bay-Area Man Wins Trip of a Lifetime Courtesy of Aflac

Oakley Resident Wins Chance to Meet NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Driver Carl Edwards
and Receive VIP Status at the NASCAR Sprint All-Star Challenge in Charlotte May 15-18

COLUMBUS, Ga., (May 13, 2008) – It’s not every day that someone gets to meet one of their idols and receive VIP treatment at the NASCAR Sprint Cup All-Star Challenge. Scott Henderson of Oakley, Calif. was one of the two lucky winners out of 17,000 who entered the Aflac Racing “Be an All-Star with Carl Edwards” promotion for a chance to win the prize of a lifetime. Thanks to Aflac, Henderson will be attending the NASCAR Sprint Cup All-Star Challenge in Charlotte, N.C. May 15-18 and will have the pleasure of meeting one of NASCAR’s most dynamic drivers, Carl Edwards. Edwards’ No. 99 Ford Fusion is sponsored by Aflac for eight NASCAR Sprint Cup Series races this season. Aflac is also an official partner of NASCAR. Henderson, an employee of Hospital Systems Incorporated, will be accompanied by his wife of 17 years, Linda.

"We’re so excited and want to thank Aflac," said Henderson. "We have been big fans of NASCAR and Carl Edwards for a long time and are looking forward to this trip."

Henderson is the drummer in the popular local contemporary country rock band, Boot Hill. The band participates in Bay-area summer concert series and festivals, and can be seen at many local restaurants and bars.

The Aflac prize package Henderson and his wife will enjoy includes: round-trip airfare for two to Charlotte, N.C., four-day, three-night hotel accommodations, a meet-and-greet with Edwards, $500 spending cash and a VIP tour of the NASCAR Research and Development Center.

Henderson entered the promotion at www.AflacRacing.com and was chosen at random. DeAnna Parnell of Laurel, Md. was the other Aflac contest winner that will join Henderson at the All-Star event.

Racing fans can visit the new Web site referenced above for Edwards’ take on each track, exclusive videos, promotions, screen savers and other features. Racing fans can also watch Edwards and the No. 99 Aflac Ford Fusion at the following upcoming races:
